This year we are memorizing 52 verses in scripture in 2025. Below are all the verses.

  1. Genesis 1:1 -  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

  2. John 1:1 -  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

  3. John 1:14 - The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  4. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

  5. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

  6. Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  7. Romans 5:8 -  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  8. Romans 10:9 - If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

  9. Romans 10:10 - For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

  10. 2 Timothy 3:16 - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

  11. Joshua 1:8 - Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

  12. Psalm 119:11 - I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

  13. Deuteronomy 6:6 - These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.

  14. Deuteronomy 6:7 - Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

  15. Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

  16. Hebrews 4:16 - Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

  17. 1 John 5:14 - This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

  18. 1 John 5:15 - And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

  19. 1 Peter 1:3 - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

  20. Psalm 100:4 - Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

  21. Psalm 100:5 - For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

  22. Revelation 3:20 - Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

  33. Philippians 4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

  36. Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

  37. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 - Rejoice always,

  44. Colossians 3:15 -  Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

  45. Colossians 3:16 - Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

  46. Colossians 3:17 - And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

  47. Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

  48. Romans 1:17 - For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

  49. Matthew 28:18 - Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

  52. Isaiah 9:6 - For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
